Kindness counts...

This week our Team Value was Manaakitanga. So, on Thursday I introduced the 'Warm Fuzzy Jar' to the children. This is a special jar into which the children are invited to add a 'Warm Fuzzy' (pompom) if they demonstrate an act of kindness in the classroom. Together, we made a list of different examples of how we can show kindness in the classroom and finished by signing our names at the bottom of the chart. We all agreed how important it is to be a kind and caring class member and demonstrate the value of Manaakitanga.
