Poetry Showcase
Last week Greg O'Connell came to St Albans School to perform his Poetry Showcase for the Junior Team. Greg is a librarian and trained teacher and is also a published author. He shared some of his favourite poetry with us and got each class up on stage to perform with him.
Later in the morning he visited Team Star and led a poetry workshop with the children. Collaboratively, Greg and the children wrote a poem together entitled 'The Animalbots'. You can find a copy of this poem in the children's poetry books.
